Service is very friendly but overwhelmed and can take some time to get to you. Mobile order setup is very convenient.

Jupiter has a prime spot in Downtown Berkeley and is right next to the BART station. It's a great place to drink, eat pizza, and hangout. I went on a Saturday night so it was very crowded. The ordering system is completely through your phone which is a bit unconventional, and you can pay through your phone or through a server. My friends and I ordered four pizzas so we can have leftovers which took up the entire table.

The pizza took over 30 minutes to come and we had to track down a waiter for water, then another waiter for utensils, then another waiter for takeout boxes. This attempt was unsuccessful so I grabbed takeout boxes from the counter myself. I ended up spending almost a quarter of my time walking around to find a server and get what I need. I wish I could have tipped myself! I've never had such poor service. So although the food was great, if you are looking for good service, this is definitely not the place and I will not be returning again when there are plenty of other delicious pizza places nearby.

But the real star of the show at Jupiter is the wood-fired food. We tried the wood-fired potatoes, and they were absolutely delicious. Perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were served with a delightful citrus aioli and a zesty cilantro jalapeño sauce. The combination of textures and flavors was outstanding.

While we only had a chance to try one dish, the menu at Jupiter offers a wide variety of pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and other tempting options. With its extensive menu, versatile ambiance, and focus on delicious wood-fired fare, Jupiter is a great spot for a casual and enjoyable dining experience in Berkeley.

Things to Note: This place is always packed so I highly recommend making a reservation, especially for larger groups or during peak times. Also, parking can be a challenge in the area, so it might be a good idea to factor that in when planning your visit.

We were looking for wood fired pizza, and a local told us to check this spot out. We were NOT disappointed.

The back patio has heaters and is open seating. It was such a cute space!

You order on your phone, and a waitress brings out your food. They have such an array of pizza options with unexpected toppings. If you're indecisive and can't make up your mind, you can get a half and half pizza.

I ended up deciding on the Odysseus (mushroom), and they didn't shy away from the toppings. It was so good! I ended up dipping it in their honey sriracha sauce for a little extra and it was absolutely delish!

I'd definitely recommend going here for a pizza and a glass of wine or beer on the back patio!

My husband and I came in here on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. They have indoor & outdoor seating and many tables. You walk in and sit wherever you'd like, every table has a QR code available to pull up the menu and order. You can keep the tab open and continue to add on as you eat or you can pay in full right there. After ordering on your phone it gets sent straight to the kitchen and not even 15 mins later our food came out. It was all sooo delicious. They also have a self serve water dispenser, but you do have to ask for ice. Overall it was very good & we will definitely be back!

Was sadly let down by this pizza. I will give it another try, and dine in as I'm sure the experience is better that way. I also might not, the cheese quality tasted very subpar and there's was too much olive that's seeped into the pizza. Perhaps I was just unlucky.

Came here with some friends tonight. We ordered the potato appetizer, the green sauce that comes with it was very good.
We ordered a large pizza and shared it. I'm not really a beer person, so I didn't really care for the beer.
I wish I took more photos of the inside and outside. The lights are so beautiful and the stairway inside adds so much to the overall look and feel of the restaurant. I definitely want to come back again.

My family and i came here for dinner right before a concert on 4/18. The place was packed and we were waiting for customers to leave. Unfortunately we waited soooo long that we were going to be late for our concert. This one waitress (unfortunately i didn't get her name) she had long black hair and was very pretty, i asked her if she could accommodate us. Within 5 minutes another waitress by the name of Jamie sat us in the back and served us very fast!! Both ladies were so friendly!! Thank you ladies

Super funky vibe tonight with HOP SAUCE. Yelp thought I was talking about food just now haha gave me a check for "food". And now thinks I'm talking about "service". Yay, AI.... Was one of the worst movies ever, so why should we think it's going to make my review better...
Anyway, this place still rocks. The band tonight was great. The food was great. The service was great(not as great as last time which was special, but really good too). The West Coast IPA was great. Too bad my daughter chose to go elsewhere for college...I'll still be coming here to visit her. Coming here to JUPITER to visit her. She'll understand.

Still trying to figure out why I still live in LA, and this place doesn't help me want to stay there. Come to Jupiter! (When you're not taking up my seating...)
