Pizza Twist

I had to plan lunch for a high school robotics event for 50 students. As you can imagine with 50 students, there were many dietary restrictions to plan for. Pizza Twist was a great option for our team as there are many different varieties and many different ways to order pizza - regular, vegetarian, vegan, halal, cheeseless, thin crust, thick crust, gluten-free just to name a few.

I worked with both Mani and Nat to get information on pizza options. They were both so very helpful, patient and had the best customer service when I was trying to figure out all the different types of pizzas to order with all the different dietary restrictions.

I really appreciated that Mani called me earlier on the day of the event to confirm they would deliver the pizza. It took a lot of stress off my mind knowing they would get the pizza delivered on time.

The students and mentors all said the pizza was very delicious, many saying they loved all the different variety of pizzas. What I especially loved were the pizzas for the students who had dietary restrictions. They normally have to bring their own lunches to these events, but they felt included because they were able to enjoy pizza along with everyone else.

Thank you Mani and Nat, for all your help with our event and for making some really great tasting pizza!

Good times again. This was my third visit.

My second, I missed Nate and his wife, Nidhi, since it was their day off. His brother was there in his stead that second time. He was good servicing his customers, but not the Warriors fan like his bro. That second time I had the non-traditional pizza of Spicy Beef Lamb Kabob. I opted for the original hand tossed crust in the medium size. It's usually big enough to take some home, but it was delicious enough that I ate all of it instead. First time having lamb on a pizza, and it was a stellar first experience.

But this third visit, Nate and Nidhi were there. I ordered the Trio Pizza Special in the pan crust (Deep Dish) style. It was a special coupon of $21.99 for a medium. FYI, the coupon isn't easy to find. You need to click on the generic menu tab, then look for the coupons rectangle. Hopefully, it will still be there if you look for it. The Trio is pepperoni, sausage and bacon. It was an scrumptious combo. The pepperoni and sausage did their expected trick, but the smokie, lightly crunchy bacon took it to another level. Also, the crust was pillowy soft and delightful to chew.

And both Nate and Nidhi came out again to watch the Warriors game with me. As the NBA season is winding down and even though the team isn't what they used to be, watching with Nate, Nidhi and a freshly baked Pizza Twist pie still infused my night with championship vibes.

Expensive, tiny tiny pizza and no flavor whatsoever. I was shocked when I opened the boxes to see what was inside.

I'd ordered a gluten free pizza and a cheese pizza. Assumed it would be enough to feed 2 kids and 2 adults. I walked to my car, looked inside and thought, "There's no way this will feed the people I'm bringing this to at their home. I had to go to Andronico's and pick up a frozen cheese pizza to make the dinner presentable. And the cost for the two pizzas? $50 + tax.

I have no idea how this place expects to survive or who the hell wrote the positive reviews. I find it hard to believe they're ligit????

Pleasantly surprised by the pizza. I'm not a big pizza eater. Kids of course love it. Our usual go to's locally are Little Star and iSlice. Pizza Twist definitely fulfills a style a pizza not covered by those two places and fulfilled my pizza craving for the week. Not too thick or doughy and not too thin or crackery. A balance of sauce and cheese and taste. We had sausage, 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni. and chicken tikka masala. All tasted yummy. Husband said chicken tikka didn't really taste like chicken tikka but tasted good anyways. And the best, we had the chocolate chip cookie pie dessert to top it all off! Which by the way, I've since gone back and got the desserts only - chocolate chip cookie and brownie pie. It's so good. Ordered online for pick up and all went smoothly. Inside is clean and has a welcoming vibe too it. We'll be back on our next craving!

Big selection of different pizza options. We tried the Bombay garlic and chicken tikka masala pizzas and wings. Tasty with fresh toppings and good crust. Nice people and excellent service. Love that the restroom is super clean and even has a cost / purse rack.

Got a modified Chicken Tikka Masala pizza from here and the chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful. I was impressed with the freshness of all the ingredients, as well as all their special offerings, such as gluten free, vegetarian, cauliflower crust etc.

The owner is super friendly and accommodating. I told him that I had picky kids and he modified the spice level as well as the vegetables included.

The restaurant is clean and welcoming and they have an assortment of board games as well as two large TVs for antsy kids. Will definitely be going back there with the fam one day soon.

Super delicious pizzas and kind staff! We ordered the Palak (Pesto) Paneer and vegetation for the kids. The crust, sauce and toppings were perfect and the pizzas were delicious!

Finally a pizza place that serves a twist of indian style pizza in Berkeley! If you don't feel like choosing one type of pizza you can half it meaning 1/2 the pizza could be a tikka masala and the other half could be butter chicken!

The owners here really try to keep the place clean and are always available to help you if needed. The ingredients on the pizza are fresh and I love that when the pizza comes out, it looks vibrant with color!

Highly recommend trying if you are ever in the area!

Really good food and even better service. I came in this place at 11P.M. and they fed me for free!

Food was delicious! The service was very welcoming and nice. They have board games to play while you wait for the food! Will be coming back again
