Scents by the Bay

Let me tell you I absolutely LOVE Scents by the Bay. I have been buying their products for a few years now and I have never been disappointed!

The massage oil candles are to die for and the perfume oils are so beautiful. While the products may seem expensive at first glance, the quality is 100% worth it. I bought 2 of the designer oils a little over 2 years ago from their first location and it is the only perfume I ever use. Yes, it's that good and yes, there's still product to this day. They're so good that I went back about 8 months ago to stock up on more! A major bonus is since all of the products are natural ingredients my sensitive skin has NEVER been irritated.

I will never switch back to big name brand products ever again. If you want quality products hand made with love this is the spot!

This is such a cute place in Berkeley if you're looking for gifts from crystals, to candles, to jewelry, to perfumes to diy body products and more! My mom, sister, and I have spent hours before just choosing scents and cute crystal jewelry.

Who knew that a 1/4oz of their perfume oil could last for hours and make you so excited to wear it ESPECIALLY if you get to make your own scent??

The owner Tarah is super welcoming, knowledgeable of her craft, and so nice! You can tell she's passionate about what she does by the way she talks about everything in her store. Everything has a purpose!

My friend and I came into Scents By The Bay thinking we'd spend maybe 30 minutes creating our own perfumes. We ended up spending two hours smelling the scents, making our own perfume scents, and also made a custom lotion! There were so many amazing smells and we were having too much fun to leave. The ladies helping us were so helpful and patient while we smelled everything. They should have kicked us out for how long we stayed LOL.

They have perfumes that are already made if you don't feel like creating your own but that was the funnest part for us. You can put whatever scent you like into a lotion, bubble bath, beard oil, massage oil, hand sanitizer, and a few other fun things. They have a $4 sample vial of whatever scents you want which is SUPER helpful for someone like me who can be picky about sm

There are tons of neat gifts too! Crystals, jewelry, candles, body stuff. The prices were all really fair, not super pricey but the quality is great. I found my new favorite thing to do in Berkeley .

I love this place and these products! Tarah provides excellent customer service and the quality of the products is amazing. I have several of her bracelets/healing crystals and have tried the aromatherapy line and couldn't be more satisfied. Highly recommend checking them out!

I picked up an awesome mahogany soy candle for my desk, a small oil diffuser for my bathroom, and dog shampoo!! The soy candle has such a great scent and is very relaxing. And once the wax is soft I use it as a lotion on my hands. It's so nice on my cuticles. The diffuser was made for small spaces so I am using it in my bathroom. I like a scent in there but nothing very overwhelming. It's just the right size for a smaller bathroom. I think I'm most excited about the dog shampoo, lol. I haven't found a dog shampoo that smells nice enough to want to snuggle my dog. I had a custom scent made of mint and lavender. My dog smells so frickin nice you guys. Anyway, I'll definitely be coming back to get more when these run out.

I came to buy a "gems enthusiast" friend a birthday gift and ended up buying a gem/essential oil roll-on for myself to try... Fast forward to today, I've been back twice more to buy those things! Love the roll-ons, and the staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable...I see more oils and gems in my future!

Make sure to check the actual product you buy. Bought two oils 1/3 oz each. One cost $25, the other $30. Both sealed, but I liked the smell of the testers. Got home. $25 oil smells like the tester. $30 oil smells like nothing. Boo! I'm ok with that price for a perfume I like, but now I guess I have to drive back to College Ave., find a place to park and see if I can get a refund.

Thank you for a wonderful experience Sheila! I came home with beautiful crystal necklaces for my boyfriend and I, a lovely set of message oil candles and some heavenly smelling shower steamers! My Dad found a gorgeous, custom adjusted bracelet, as well as a travel fragrance oil. We were literally in the store for over an hour, it's the perfect shopping experience! Love that there is also a points program to rewards, was able to redeem right on the spot! Visiting from LA and will DEFINITELY be coming back, thank you!

What can I say about this amazing new place?! It has a cute kid corner that amazed my 2 yrs old son long enough for me to shop and explore all the new items. I was already in love with the soy candles- but I discovered a crystals selection that was amazing. I needed a little balance and love in my life and found the perfect necklace for it.

I have purchased many items from Scents by the Bay over the years... starting with they're amazing massage oil Candles and natural stone jewelry.
One of the items I cannot live without is the full spectrum CBD Natural pain relief Roll On. I had pain and inflammation in both knees and it hurt to walk. Trying to avoid knee surgery... I thought I'd give it a try. I cannot tell you the relief I feel. Firstly, the pain is gone within 10-15 minutes. Secondly, after using it every day for about a week I noticed the inflammation in the joints subsided. I can see my kneecaps again. I feel like a new, younger person.
Speaking of younger, I also love Scents by the Bay "Bright Eyes" eye cream with CBD and Retinol. It truly takes care of those fine lines around my eyes.
